Sr. Contract Manager/Director (Global) | ABB Careers UAE


Position: Sr. Contract Manager/Director (Global)
Coordinating the provision of contract management services to the Global Division, ensuring all contract management activities are executed in accordance with Group/Division/Business Unit directives and instructions including Company procedures and the Contract Management Framework for Process Automation, Energy Industries business.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the portfolio of contracts in the business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard procedures
  • Review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions, developing contract strategy based on ABB’s policies, customer requirements, and the overall execution strategy taking into account risk, pricing, scope, and schedule
  • Verifying that both parties to the contract have fulfilled their contractual obligations and there are no responsibilities outstanding.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Law or Economics.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in project business, contract management preferably in EPC domain.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
