Position: Senior Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist, who is interested in running procurement independently and shape the role to the next level. You are ready to lead, to optimize and execute on strategic projects and will report to the Associate Director Procurement
Responsibilities:
- This position provides leadership and direction for procurement activities including the support of business unit(s) operating and strategic plans
- Responsible for planning and conducting negotiations as well as leading and conducting RFPs, RFQs and quotation analysis for category spend
- Creates source plans for specific categories based on supply market analysis and cost models and supports Regional and Global/International spend categories as needed
Requirements:
- University or College degree preferably in economical or business area. MBA or advanced degree is desirable
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in strategic category sourcing and in complex, regulated, international and cross functional environment
- Strong customer-focus and solution-orientation; used to manage multiple projects with changing priorities to full customer satisfaction; stress resistance
