Position: Sample Assistant
Responsible for assisting the laboratory Chemists and Lab Assistants in the operation of the laboratory of Lubricating Oils and Greases in the plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Draws samples of raw material, packaging material and finished products as per the directions of the Chemist/ lab assistant.
  • Maintains the laboratory and laboratory equipment/apparatus/glassware in a clean condition all the times.
  • Ensures proper storage and easy recall of the laboratory retention samples.
  • Ensures the adequate supply of laboratory chemicals is available for testing by replenishment from the store at proper intervals.
  • Participates in the implementation of the HSE policy of the company and follow safe working practises across the plant. Supports the laboratory management system.

  • High School certificate / apprentice in laboratory from a recognized institute.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience preferably in lab / lubricants blending plant
