Position: Principal Engineer – Piping
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers and designers in carrying out FEED or Proposal or Detailed Engineering work assuming entire responsibility and within budgeted man-hour and project schedules by maintaining required quality
- Review the ITT (Invitation to Tender) documents provided in the proposals. Prepare technical queries (TQs) to the Client. Seek scope clarification, Follow up on the tender bulletins.
- Preparation of Wall thickness calculation, PMS, VDS, Special item datasheets and other data sheets
- Prepare Piping material specification, Valve material Specification and TSR for piping components.
- Interface with Client representatives as required for resolving any technical issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of related Petroleum / Petrochemical industry experience preferable from a background in working for EPC / Consultancy organizations of the Oil and Gas Industry.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience within the oil & gas industry working for EPCI Consultants / Contractors.
- Knowledge of VPRM / ERM, PMS, MTO, Interdisciplinary, and interface management.
