Position: Lead Piping Engineer
Wood is currently inviting applications for Lead Piping Engineer with experience in oil&gas industry to be based in UAE
Responsibilities:
- Continuous promotion of, and adherence to, the discipline specific procedures and providing feedback for continuous improvement
- Support the development and delivery of the technical assurance framework
- Monitor compliance with competence standards
- Participate in incident investigations as required
- Set performance expectations for direct reports
- Actively maintaining own competence and continuous development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry mainly being offshore downstream
- Minimum of 5 years proven capability in an engineering design company
- Significant experience in preparation of proposals for Studies, FEED, Detail Engineering projects.
- Experience of working with multi – national and multi – cultural project teams is strongly preferred
