Position: Junior Legal Counsel
In this role you will conduct thorough reviews of contracts and provide support to the requesting teams. Work on and/or initiate projects to enhance the overall efficiency of the function. Support the HOD in requests and presentations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an overall Strategy for Government Relations in SGE
- Monitor the Regulatory and Political Landscape for Threats and Opportunities
- Raise awareness of local issues that may have global implications and coordinate with Global Public Affairs Group
- Develop, deliver informative and engaging local communications regularly
- Monitor and compile weekly reports and reporting matters to RHQ
- Monitor government law change (Report on time) (UAE/Qatar/Bahrain/Kuwait/Oman)
Requirements:
- Western qualified
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience either in-house or private practice or both
- Excellent problem solving skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Significant ad hoc project experience
