Al Khaleej Sugar – literally meaning The Gulf Sugar – appropriately derives its name from the fact that it is the first sugar refinery in the Arabian Gulf Region. Al Kaleej Sugar was established in 1992 & based in Jebel Ali in Dubai, with a production capacity of 2400MT.

Position: Internal Auditor
The purpose of the job is to execute all assurance assignments as per the annual assurance plan and/or assigned by the Head of Assurance and Business Transformation (ABT) and Assurance Manager, which includes but is not limited to, ensuring compliance with all controls, policies, procedures, standards and other internal and external requirements, to safeguard company interests and to support operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  •  Preparation notes for processes under review, using narratives and/or flow charts and assist in identification of key risk areas and controls to mitigate risks.
  • Assist in conducting enterprise-risk assessments and identify controls in place to mitigate those identified risks.
  •  Develop and maintain strong rapport with the auditees and other members of the assurance team.

Requirements:

  • Master Degree.
  • 4 + years of relevant experience – Consultancy or manufacturing business environment.
