Position: Digital Editor – B2B
ITP Media Group’s B2B division is seeking a digital editor keen to work on creating online content for an audience of professionals. The digital editor spearheads the brand’s editorial presence, producing content that informs, provokes, and inspires an audience of industry professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Source, commission, and edit news stories
- Write online news and longer-form articles
- Compile and send out email bulletins to deadline, monitoring and improving click-through and open rates
- Curate the website to attract more users
- Control quality of website content, including ensuring that all elements are up-to-date
- Work with other departments to promote events and awards, and sponsored and promotional articles
Requirements:
- Strong copy-editing and headline-writing skills
- The ability to moderate conferences and act as a thought leader in the industry
- Good communication skills, helping you to influence people that you do not manage
- Good knowledge of WordPress or an aptitude to acquire it quickly
