Position: Design Manager
AECOM are currently recruiting a Design Manager to be based in our Abu Dhabi Design Studio. The Design Manager will work alongside the senior designers and is ultimately responsible for the delivery of large-scale rail projects from bidding to delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of the team by supporting the senior management team in the progressive evolution of AECOM’s research activities and technical development. 
  • Responsible for the design scope and delivery, managing tasks arising from coordination meetings, team leadership (project level), client engagement, managing approvals, design risk management, management sub-consultants (scope & process).

Education

Bachelor of Science in Design Management or Bachelor of Science in a relevant design discipline

Experience

At least 8-10 Years

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Design Management or Bachelor of Science in a relevant design discipline
  • Local Authority Architect registration required
  • Experience in rail, metro or tram projets is required
  • Experience in residential, entertainment, retail and hospitality projects
  • At least 8-10 years working in either Architecture or Design Management
