Position: Bridge Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

  • Studying and conducting calculations of complex bridge structures
  • Operating advanced structural software, spreadsheets, etc. to define structural  demand and capacity
  • Prepare calculations / design reports, specifications, technical memos/ documents
  • Prepare engineering sketches for  technicians to produce drawings
  • Review, mark-up drawings and ensure QA / QC  procedures are in place  for drafting production
  • Work under the mentoring  of experienced senior engineers  and project managers and seek support and assistance when required

Requirements:

  • Min. 5 years of Experience in Bridge Engineering
  • Good knowledge in Resistance of Materials (Structural Analysis)
  • Good knowledge in prestressed/reinforced concrete and steel design
  • Experience of segmental post-tensioned box girder bridges, and/or cable-supported structures
  • Experience/awareness of segmental post-tensioned box girder bridges, and/or cable-supported structures
