Position: Administrator-Procurement (Projects/FF&E)
As an Administrator, Procurement (Projects/FF&E) you will be responsible to maintain and action the day-to-day tasks of procurement, conducting duties in the assigned place of work and providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with standards, policies & procedures to maximize efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness of the purchasing section.
Responsibilities:
- Process Purchase Requisitions – All the PRs raised in the system should be processed within the stipulated time frame.
- To coordinate & assist the respective User departments as regards to their day-to-day requirements.
- Obtaining Quotes – As per the specifications requested by the user department, quotes should be obtained from various suppliers to ensure goods & services are obtained at the best price prevailing in the market.
- Create successful alliances with the suppliers and build strong business relationships with them.
Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor’s Degree / Diploma from an accredited university preferably in Supply Chain; International Business or Business Administration
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience within in a similar capacity.
- Sound knowledge of the procurement processes, exceptional communication skills, logical reasoning and analytical skills and sound understanding of risk assessments.
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge is required.
